This works when you are almost blind, which most. The main idea is that you probably have to learn again as hiding/spotting is the most important thing in RB, but this said, if you have some knowledge of the maps, just find a spot where you see and you are not seen, wait for your moment and profit. I played about 10 hours of planes realistic and arcade, But in my soul I am a true tanker, I get a 4 meter long erection when tanks are talked about and I was a tanker in arma pathetic laughter. RB for ground allows every tank to more properly play to its strengths, keeps planes til midgame and makes them actually matter if you die and the way the spawn points (SP) work, it actually can reward you for keeping 'weaker' or lower BR tanks in your lineup because the cost is generally lower on them so you can guarntee that extra spawn even if its a tank that is a bit lower BR than your others. It tskes some practise but RB is soo much fun. And the little pen marke feels like it should be a tutorial thing and is not fit for active gameplay. Everyone has their username floating above them so tanks meant for flanking, ambushing or hiding are less relevant and tanks that can take hits and be more int he open thrive. Once you are in such a tank, you need to look for targets in either the binocular or gunner view - you cannot spot targets in third person view. You get 3 spawns regardless of what you spawn in so people bias tanks thy feel are 'better' a bit more, the planes are free and can suicide with no real penalty to gurantee rocket/bomb hits. You can check the modules of the tank to check if it has spotting - if it contains a module with a binocular icon, that means that it can spot tanks (even if you haven’t yet researched that module). Personally I prefer arcade as realistic planes just goes too slow and is just a climbfest.įor ground forces though, arcade is just a joke to me. When you first drive a tank in War Thunder, youll feel a. The IL-2 developers have broached the subject on the forums asking for opinions and thoughts on the matter and so let’s have a look at the message. Realistic makes you play a bit more thoughtfully and outmaneuver your enemy. In terms of REALISM, it is safe to say War Thunder has the advantage, and it shows from the get-go. One of the biggest sources of frustration in IL-2’s multiplayer, and something not exclusively limited to just IL-2, is spotting aircraft and being able to then effectively react to them as needed. Originally posted by Quicksolution:this is a noob question, could you tell me the difference between these both as i have only played arcade and loving it ?
